Outlawing Cannabis Is NONSENSE

Hemp prohibition is on our front cover. It’s written about in newspapers, blogs and it’s all over social media. Now people are voting about it. The “It” is the ending of cannabis prohibition. Cannabis advocates for years have been saying that cannabis prohibition is more harmful to society than the plant itself and for me I think we’re now seeing the results of years of hard work.

Every year throughout the world many people are incarcerated for marijuana trafficking. A perfect case in point is the well-publicized arrest of Canadian Marc Emery. Marc just finished serving five years in a USA jail because he sold cannabis seeds to citizens of that country. At that time, DEA Administrator Karen Tandy said; “this is a significant blow not only to the marijuana trafficking trade in the U.S. and Canada, but also to the marijuana legalization movement.

Hemp products are everywhere! Every year propane bar-b-q grills are sold. We fill up our cars with gasoline in order to drive. When we need paint thinners to clean up with, we purchase it at the local hardware store. These are items that can be sold to anyone of any age. They are examples are items that can be replaced by using hemp products.

During the last few years, the citizens of Toronto Canada have gathered in May for the Treating Yourself Cannabis Expo. This show was like no other in Canada. It featured some of the top businesses in the marijuana movement. Major seed companies were present from the Netherlands and South Africa. Almost every hemp food product was represented. Advocacy groups were also at the cannabis expo.
