The Illusions Of Music Take Center Stage

Casper Leitch Is The Master of Ceremonies in This Cannabis Classic Rock Spectacular

Casper Leitch (music producer and host of the longest running pro-cannabis series, ‘Time 4 Hemp’) is inviting audiences to enjoy a one-of-a-kind animated musical journey with the release of a this video special showcasing The Illusions Of Music and celebrating the launch of their album, "High Daze On Highways."

Created using advanced AI animation technology, the special transforms the band's colorful cast of characters into a virtual concert experience hosted by an animated version of Leitch himself. Serving as announcer, host, and master of ceremonies, Leitch guides viewers through an entertaining lineup of original cannabis-inspired songs with lyrics written by him and performed in the styles of some of music's most legendary artists.

The show opens with fan favorite Bud Stoner, who kicks off the festivities with a high-energy 1950s boogie-woogie rock rendition of the classic Time 4 Hemp Theme Song. Bud returns to the spotlight moments later with "The Glow of Medical Cannabis," a vibrant Elton John inspired pop-rock anthem celebrating the life-changing potential of medical cannabis. Dressed in over-the-top fashion and larger-than-life stage flair, Bud delivers a performance that is equal parts tribute and spectacle.

The mood then shifts as Harry Johnson takes center stage with "The Law That Left Me Behind," a powerful Johnny Cash style ballad reflecting on those who served prison sentences for cannabis-related offenses long before legalization transformed the landscape. Combining heartfelt storytelling with classic country grit, the song explores one of the most significant social issues surrounding cannabis reform.

Next, the audience is treated to a swagger-filled performance from Mike Hunt, whose Rolling Stones inspired anthem "Smoking The Devil's Weed" brings rock-and-roll attitude, rebellious energy, and tongue-in-cheek humor to the stage. The crowd is quickly swept up in the song's infectious beat and carefree spirit.

The energy reaches a new level when Juanita Moorehigh bursts onto the scene with "Light It Up," a dance-pop celebration inspired by the style and excitement of Madonna's biggest hits. Her electrifying stage presence turns the animated concert into a full-scale dance party and proves why she remains one of the standout personalities of The Illusions Of Music.

To close the evening, Juanita returns with a swinging jazz interpretation of the Time 4 Hemp Theme Song, bringing the show to a memorable and uplifting conclusion.

This project combines music, storytelling, animation, humor, and cannabis culture into a unique entertainment experience. Whether you're a fan of classic rock, country, pop, swing, or simply curious about the evolving conversation surrounding cannabis and hemp, there's something in this show for everyone.

The animated music special was created to support the release of "High Daze On Highways," the newest album from The Illusions Of Music, a satirical virtual band known for blending musical tributes, colorful characters, and cannabis-themed storytelling.

Fans of classic rock legends, vintage country, boogie-woogie, pop, and swing jazz will find familiar influences throughout the production while enjoying a fresh and entertaining animated experience unlike anything currently available in the independent music scene.

I got involved in the Hemp Movement in 1989 when I was hired by Jack Herer to run hiss office. I launched the cable television series ‘TIME 4 HEMP’ on January 5, 1991. Time 4 Hemp is the first TV series in the history of broadcasting to focus strictly on the topic of cannabis. This has given me the dubious honor of being ‘The Father Of Marijuana Television’.
