Texas DA, Sarah Stogner, Stops By To Say High In Debut Week

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
August 21, 2025

'Time 4 Hemp', the pioneering cannabis TV-series founded by legendary activist Casper Leitch, is making its return to television on Citizen Green TV, the nation’s only veteran-focused streaming hub for plant-based wellness. Beginning August 26, 2025, new episodes will air every Tuesday and Thursday, bringing decades of cannabis advocacy, education, and storytelling to a broader audience.

Hosted by Casper Leitch, widely recognized as 'The Father of Marijuana Media', Time 4 Hemp has long championed the role of cannabis and hemp as both medicinal necessities and environmental solutions. Now, with its syndication on Citizen Green TV, the series will reach a new generation of viewers hungry for truth, healing, and reform.

Joining Casper are his JOINT-Hosts: Al Byrne, a decorated veteran and author of 'For Country And Cannabis', known for his groundbreaking work in medical cannabis education and nonprofit leadership. Al Graham, a Canadian cannabis patient-advocate and media voice with the PACE Broadcasting Network.

Spotlight Guest: Texas DA Sarah Stogner

The second episode of the debut week features Sarah Stogner, District Attorney for Texas’s 143rd Judicial District, whose recent protest against THC bans has made national headlines. Stogner live-streamed herself smoking cannabis, legally purchased in New Mexico, to protest proposed legislation in Texas that would criminalize THC products. Her bold stance has sparked widespread debate and earned recent coverage in Newsweek magazine and The New York Times.

“It’s silly that our elected officials want to completely ban THC when that’s not what our constituents want,” Stogner told Newsweek. “We’ve got real crimes to prosecute, oilfield theft, rape, murder, and right now, we can’t enforce the law as written on marijuana because of testing requirements.”

Stogner’s appearance on 'Time 4 Hemp' promises to be a powerful conversation about justice, policy, and the future of cannabis reform in Texas and beyond.

A New Chapter in Cannabis Media

With Citizen Green TV’s mission to help veterans heal, grow, and thrive through plant-based wellness, the addition of 'Time 4 Hemp' is a natural fit. The series will continue to feature expert interviews, patient stories, and advocacy updates, now amplified by a platform dedicated to holistic healing and education.

“This partnership is more than a syndication, it’s a celebration of truth, courage, and the power of media to drive change,” said Casper Leitch. “We’re honored to bring our voice to Citizen Green TV and to spotlight leaders like Sarah Stogner who aren’t afraid to challenge the status quo.”

It’s Time 4 Green

Casper Leitch

I got involved in the Hemp Movement in 1989 when I was hired by Jack Herer to run hiss office. I launched the cable television series ‘TIME 4 HEMP’ on January 5, 1991. Time 4 Hemp is the first TV series in the history of broadcasting to focus strictly on the topic of cannabis. This has given me the dubious honor of being ‘The Father Of Marijuana Television’.
